Summerville's historic district is known as the birthplace of sweet tea, and the area's character is just as delightful. If you love towns with charm, Summerville's historic district encompasses 700 buildings, with 70% predating World War I. We are also known for The Annual Flowertown Festival, which was voted one of the top 20 events by Southeast Tourism.
