Proudly Accredited

AAHA, or the American Animal Hospital Association, is the only organization that accredits veterinary hospitals in the U.S. and Canada, meaning they set the standards for quality veterinary care. The process of becoming AAHA-accredited is grueling—clinics that choose to apply for accreditation must demonstrate that they’re thorough, responsive, sanitary, and safe. The AAHA also rates hospitals for compliance in following a wide array of veterinary protocols.

Flowertown Animal Hospital is thrilled to be one of the only 12-15% of hospitals in North America accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association. This designation means that we have met or exceeded the rigorous standards set by the AAHA and are inspected annually to ensure we maintain those standards, so your pet gets the best quality care possible. When you bring your furry families to us, you can rest assured that they’re in good hands!

Accreditation by AAHA means that an animal hospital has been evaluated on approximately 900 standards of veterinary excellence. State and provincial regulations can vary widely – in fact, some states don’t routinely inspect hospitals, only going in for an inspection when a complaint is filed by a pet owner. AAHA accreditation is considered the standard for veterinary excellence and does not vary between states or provinces.

Pets are our passion and keeping them healthy is our #1 priority. Here, we strive to deliver excellent care for pets because your pets deserve nothing less.
