While Dr. Easley does not see patients primarily, she works behind the scenes with the wonderful DVMs at JIVH offering consultations, ultrasonography, and various procedures for their patients.
Dr. Frankie Easley joined JIVH in September of 2024 as their consulting internal medicine specialist. Originally from coastal NC, she spent 9 years in Raleigh, NC where she completed her veterinary school, 1 year internal medicine focused internship, 3 year internal medicine residency, and 1 year nephrology/urology fellowship at North Carolina State University. She has been a board certified small animal internal medicine specialist since 2022. Internal medicine is a broad specialty which covers diseases of the lungs, endocrine organs, gastrointestinal tract, kidneys, urinary system, and immune system as well as infectious disease processes. Of these, Dr. Easley has an overwhelming passion for the kidneys and urinary system.
Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys spending time (especially outdoors!) with her husband, 2 young children, and 2 dogs.
