As far as she can remember, Shelby had an interest in animals and their health. In high school, Shelby was an active member of the FFA where she studied small animal health and hygiene through the trade and technology extension. She has always yearned for more knowledge so she started working and gaining experience as a veterinary assistant in an emergency, then transferred to general practice. She feels she has found her true home at Flowertown where she gets a healthy mix of both worlds. Her favorite breed is the Australian Cattle Dog. She has a house full of many animals: four dogs and two cats. In her downtime, she loves spending time with her four nieces who make her proud every day. She loves forming relationships with her patients and clients and looks forward to meeting more of the FAH family. She has dreams and goals to travel more and further her education.
